Guides
Four guides hold the judgement calls behind the numbers the API returns.
How business days are counted, country by country
Friday is a working day in New York and a rest day in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia, Israel, the UAE change of 2022, and what happens when a holiday lands on a weekend.
Where holiday data comes from, and how we check it
Official lists first, aggregators second. Two-source checking, and the mismatch types that survive it.
Adjustment days: why China is the hard case
A Saturday can be a working day in China by government notice. A model that only stores holidays gets those weeks wrong, by up to 3 days on a single delivery estimate.
API versioning and change policy
v1 in the path, additive changes inside a version, 12 months of overlap for breaking changes, 90 days of notice.
